Who Else Wants Your MLM Products?
September 9, 2008
What is the first thing you should consider when choosing your network marketing / MLM business? You’ll hear many different opinions on this. A common focus is promoting the compensation plan as the most important thing to consider.
Some plans pay more up front (benefitting the new marketer) while others pay more on the back end (big perks for the heavy hitters). Some plans strike a balance between these two.
Your MLM compensation plan IS important. However, if you have what it takes to be successful and work your business consistently, you will make money with any good plan. Without good products, though, even the best payout in the world is not going to be worth much over the long haul.
I believe your opportunity’s products should be evaluated first. Your products are the foundation of your MLM business, and are sometime glossed over in the rush to emphasize how great the compensation plan is.
Here are some things to look for when evaluating [tag-tec]MLM products[/tag-tec].
1) Are the products good enough that people not involved in the business will buy them at retail prices?
2) Are the products consumable, so that people can buy them month after month?
3) Do the products have broad appeal, such that virtually everyone is a potential customer?
Whatever [tag-tec]MLM opportunity[/tag-tec] you choose, the products will be very important in determining how stable the opportunity is over the long term. Many short-term "flash in the pan" opportunities have been built around marginal quality products tied to compensation plans with high payout. This creates an opportunity to make good money over a short term, with "make big money now" hype as the driving force. Ventures like this won’t last.
Are you looking for a stable MLM opportunity you can put your heart into, and create a long-term residual income?
Look first to the product line. Who else wants your [tag-tec]MLM[/tag-tec] products?
