Why People Fail in MLM and Network Marketing

March 3, 2009

financial freedom in network marketingWhat is the main reason people fail to achieve success in MLM and network marketing?

It really is simple, and quite obvious. Despite all that, I’ve seen so many fall into this trap and fail to reach their potential.

Do you need to have outstanding selling ability? No!

Do you have to be a great motivator of people? Not necessarily.

Some people seem to be born for network marketing. They seem so natural for this business. They sign up and make money in record time.

Others move along slowly, growing at a steady rate, and achieve success after a few years of very part-time effort.

The Main Reason People Fail in MLM and Network Marketing

Many people fail to achieve success in MLM and network marketing because they don’t think past today or tomorrow. Lack of patience, and being able to see past the immediate future, is what holds them back.

A simplified, yet effective path to success:

  • do your research and pick the best company and opportunity you can find
  • sign up and commit some serious time to building your business each month
  • don’t micro analyze your growth or paycheck each month – just continue doing the right things
  • communicate with your sponsor and successful upline often
  • invest time to read and listen to personal growth and success courses

Success in MLM and network marketing requires an investment of time and effort. Because of the ease of getting into the business, it’s all too easy to give up when results don’t come quickly. Don’t let that happen to you – hang in there and keep plugging!
