Network Marketing and Twitter
November 20, 2008
Have you tried Twitter yet? This is a cool service that helps you build a group of friends and “followers” who subscribe to short updates you send out. You can send these messages as often as you like (within reason).
For each Twitter update you send, you are limited to 140 characters. The idea is to answer the question “What are you doing right now?” You can also send links to interesting things you find on the web. You can do all this from your computer or cell phone quickly and easily.
This has interesting potential for helping you find prospects and leads for your MLM and network marketing business. I put up a basic profile on Twitter a month ago, and indicated that I was involved in network marketing, MLM, and home business.
I then began sending short updates when I added content to this blog, or to my Squidoo lenses.
With little effort at all, at this point I have 34 people following my updates. Right now I’m working on strategies for maximizing the effectiveness of Twitter for network marketing and MLM, and will post these soon.
Take a look at this short video that shows what Twitter is and how to set up your account. Go sign up and have some fun! Follow my updates if you like, my Twitter profile is here: Eldon Beard’s Twitter Profile
