How I Went From ZERO to Network Marketing Top Earner – Using a FREE Viral Marketing Secret

It was a bright Spring day in Dallas when I got the call. “Stone”, said the voice on the phone, “You’re our top recruiter and top earner. Congratulations”.

The Founder and CEO of the company I’d joined less than a year earlier was calling me, congratulating me on the results of my hard work. What he didn’t know, though, is that my success wasn’t primarily due to “hard work”. While I did put in time and effort to create these results, I “worked smarter, not harder” – and discovered a simple way to rev up my recruiting and put it on 24/7 automatic pilot.

When I first joined this company, I decided to test out if I could recruit using a viral report. I chose this medium, since a report can easily be shared via email and the internet (in PDF format). But, more importantly, I could produce it quickly and easily without any programming skills. I wanted to test this idea fast – and hiring a programmer to create a complicated system would take more time and money than I wanted to invest. By creating a simple report and saving it as a PDF file, I had the ability to test my idea within a few days.

When I created the report, I knew it needed a few key components to make it “viral”.

All four factors were crucial for creating a report that would be shared, person to person, hundreds, even thousands of times.

Before moving on, it’s important to understand that one of the “side effects” of creating this report is that it positioned me as a “leader”. Leaders teach and train others on how to build their own business. They share their expertise with others. In creating the report, I’d positioned myself as an expert. And, given a choice, a prospect would normally prefer to join an opportunity in the downline of a “leader”, than with someone who is seen as “just one of the masses”.

When I started sharing my viral MLM report, I had no idea what the results would be. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I hoped that the report would take off and be downloaded a few thousand times the very first week I launched it.

The reality is that my viral report grew slowly. I invested about 15 to 30 minutes per day to share my viral report with others on the Internet. I shared it on Facebook, Twitter, and through other social media and bookmarking sites. I also shared it on my blog, on forums, and emailed it to my list.

Soon, my report had been downloaded dozens of times. Then hundreds of times. Soon, it hit 1,000 downloads. At that point, it started to take on a life of its own. My distributors, who I gave permission to rebrand my report – started sharing it with others, just as I had.

Very quickly, downloads of the report jumped from 1,000 to 5,000. Then 10,000. Then 20,000. Today, as I’m writing this, that report has been downloaded 38,134 times. And it continues to be downloaded and rebranded, again and again. I couldn’t stop it now if I wanted to.

This has translated into a hefty passive income for me in my network marketing company. And it’s what prompted the congratulatory call from the Founder and CEO of the company.

Today, thanks to this one viral report, my downline is growing by leaps and bounds, on 24/7 auto-pilot, while I work on starting and growing new businesses. That one idea, put into action, became my “secret weapon” for massive success in the MLM field.
